ANSWER: Great question! The intention of office systems and protocols is to create efficiency, consistency and flow in the office. What I have found is that systems are created but no one is properly trained on those systems. So, each team member has a different way of completing tasks. Which creates confusion.
How to fix this? Do an audit of your systems. Update what you have already and create new protocols where they may be needed. Next, communicate with the team. Make sure everyone understands the expectations and that adhering to them is necessary.
